PROSAIC is a directory of currently open paying writing markets.

Every listing is verified directly from the magazine’s or contest’s own submissions page. We read the guidelines, deadlines, payment details, and any restrictions ourselves before adding or updating an entry. No listings are added from secondary sources or aggregator sites.

The goal is to give writers one reliable place to find legitimate opportunities that pay for their work — flash fiction, short stories, poetry, chapbooks, themed calls, and haiku. All information is kept up to date by regularly checking the source pages.
